For Lebanon Youth Football information: Lean In Lebanon Lean in Lebanon, a new community fitness program sponsored by the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce and Sports Village begins Monday, April 15. Lean in Lebanon’s mission is to change more than 100 lives in a positive way through the use of lifetime activities and fitness to encourage healthy weight loss. Entrants will be assigned to a team in which they are encouraged to work out and join active outings such as bowling and hiking. An application and an entry fee of $50 must be turned into the Chamber or Sports Village by Friday, April 5. The fee will be refunded in full once the applicant successfully completes the program including the required Go Johnny Go Run/Walk on Saturday, May 18 where the winners of the Lean in Lebanon will be announced. Scholarships are available thru the Chamber if applicant is in need of assistance.
Jingle Jog The Lebanon-Wilson County Sports Council “Jingle Jog” a 5K Fun Run preceding the Christmas Parade. Participants can register in advance at the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce office or www.active.com. Registration forms available at the Chamber office. You need JavaScript enabled to view it "Go Johnny Go" The event is a fun, family event held in memory of Lebanon, Tennessee, businessman Johnny Keel. In addition to being a fun family event and local fundraiser, "Go Johnny Go" is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All proceeds will go to Johnny Keel Wellness Foundation! Johnny struggled with cancer for years and through out his life he never gave up! This event is a wonderful awareness to bring our community together and help those struggling all in the name of Johnny Keel. Please come out and support this special event. Attention Runners! This is a CERTIFIED course! You are not going to want to miss this run! It is up, down and around. You will not be bored and you will not be running a straight line on pavement.
